The Murphy Theatre, a 682 seat year-round venue, located in Wilmington Ohio,

is seeking a Technical Director to serve the increasingly demanding

needs of our concert series and other productions. 

Our Technical Director must be detail oriented, and familiar with current sound and lighting equipment, as well as rigging, projectors, and all tasks related to the stage, live performances, and movies, including standard venue safety protocols. 

Weekend availibility is a must. Ideally, experience in recording and video editing would be a plus for our technical director as we are looking for additional production support with our weekly Murphy Report as well.

Charlie’s, the full-service bar and concessions gathering place attached to the Murphy Theatre, is currently looking for part-time bartenders.

Overall, the duties include welcoming and promptly fulfilling customer drink orders, restocking the bar as needed, keeping the bar and equipment clean, taking cash or card payments, verifying customer ages as necessary, and assisting in the concessions area when needed, including adhering to all opening and closing procedures. Weekend availability is required. Communication with the Manager of Charlie’s to convey availability is essential. Hours are flexible and vary with scheduled events, normally prior to weekend concerts, events, and movies, with occasional weeknight programs. Bartender candidates must be over 21 and while not required, preferably possess some customer service and bartending experience.
