The Murphy Theatre, a historic performing arts venue located at 50 West Main Street in Wilmington Ohio is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our growing operations team. Essential duties will focus on messaging our programming, which includes concerts, plays, movies, and a host of other live events. You will work closely with the Executive Director to recognize and apply for grants, assist in identifying potential season and event sponsors, as well as complete other office-related responsibilities, including but not limited to providing administrative support to the Board of Trustees with reminders, packets, and other prep for monthly meetings. Basic accounting and computer skills, including all social media platforms and QuickBooks, will prove helpful. A willingness to serve as an ambassador for the theatre at various events around the community will add value to our team. While some hours may vary based on certain events at the theatre, the ideal candidate will work a forty-hour week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. This position offers no benefits other than those required by statute.
